Creators Temple Grateful Edition : A cultivated heart produces Joy

In a world often programmed by stress, negativity, & discontent, the practice of gratefulness emerges as a powerful weapon. Gratefulness, the act of acknowledging & appreciating all in our lives, is not merely a pleasant sentiment but a transformative force that can heal the ailments of a sick heart. As we navigate life  bitterness, negativity, complaining, & anger often manifest, but it's in the practice of gratitude that we find the remedy for these afflictions.

For my workout junkies, you ever had to workout when you didn't want to? You know you're obligated to put in the work if you want to see results. Gratefulness can feel that way sometimes when we are not perceiving from our higher perspective. It can feel like a practice that we don't want to attend, but it's critical to remind ourselves when those emotions arise that we are obligated if we want the to produce joy as we are supposed to.

"Bitterness is like a rotten fruit; it pollutes the soul & spoils the sweetness of life." Bitterness is a poison that corrodes the soul, often stemming from unresolved pain or disappointment. When we harbor bitterness, we are choosing a low perception of the world, leading to resentment & cynicism.

"Negativity is the rotten fruit of a poisoned mind, spreading decay & darkness wherever it grows." A negative mindset can become a self-fulfilling prophecy, coloring every aspect of our lives with gloom. It robs us of joy, saps our energy, & dims our outlook on the future.

"Complaining is the rotten fruit of discontent, souring the taste of gratitude & joy." Constant complaining is a habit that reinforces dissatisfaction. Instead of focusing on what we have, we fixate on what we lack, perpetuating a cycle of discontent.

"Anger is a toxic fruit, poisoning the heart & withering the soul with its bitter taste." Anger, whether directed inward or outward, consumes us from within. It clouds judgment, damages relationships, & fosters a toxic environment of conflict & hostility. Keep in mind anger can stem from fear, frustration, hurt, threat or injustice. Anger is not right or wrong. It is the fruit of an uncultivated heart. Behavior however is either good or evil.

"In the battle against negativity, gratefulness is the mightiest weapon, turning every obstacle into an opportunity & every setback into a stepping stone."

"Gratefulness is the elixir that heals the wounds of the past, fortifies the spirit in the present & paves the way for a brighter future."

Gratefulness serves as a balm for the wounds of a sick heart, offering solace, perspective, & renewal. When we cultivate an atmosphere of gratitude within the temple, we shift our focus from what's lacking to the abundance that is already ours. We become attuned to the beauty that surrounds us, even in the midst of adversity.

Spirit & Truth

1 Thessalonians 5:18   "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you." A reminder that gratitude is not contingent upon our circumstances but is the weapon we choose regardless of our situation. It does not mean all circumstances are an ideal experience, it means that in any circumstance you are consistently setting an atmosphere of gratefulness within in your temple.

Psalm 100:4 - "Enter with the password: 'Thank you!' Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him." When you're really comfortable with someone you talk 💩 to each other, but comfort does not produce a home. Being engaged & in collaboration with someone requires a different language. Expressing gratitude is not only a personal practice but also an integral part of worship, drawing us closer to the divine.

Philippians 4:6 "Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions & praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.

Decorate the temple in gratefulness...

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend."

- Melody Beattie

"Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul."

- Henry Ward Beecher

As we journey through the highs & lows of life we have to embrace the transformative power of gratefulness if we want to bare the fruit of joy. A cultivated  heart is overflowing with gratitude. We not only heal ourselves but also radiate light & positivity to those around us.
